Fueling a green revolution: India’s TechOps team installs biogas plants every 7 minutes
In India, the demand for biogas energy has persisted for decades, particularly among smallholder farmers who face numerous obstacles in accessing market opportunities, technology advancements, and financial resources. These challenges have led to approximately 60-70% of them relying on firewood for cooking, underscoring the pressing need for an accessible and affordable alternative.
For the past five years, Sistema.bio India has been tirelessly working to address this issue by providing farmers throughout the country with a modern and innovative solution. Through our unwavering commitment and hard work, we have achieved significant success, positively impacting over 50,000 farmers across 21 states in India.
The recent inauguration of our state-of-the-art factory marks a significant milestone in our journey. With its expansive 130,000 square feet, we have considerably increased our production capacity, enabling us to manufacture 100,000 biogas plants annually. This remarkable progress has facilitated a surge in our daily installation rate. Our dedicated TechOps team now installs 200 biogas plants every day, equating to one installation every 7 minutes. Their tireless efforts, working day and night, are empowering farmers nationwide to become self-reliant.
Through our continuous expansion and accelerated installation efforts, Sistema.bio India is making substantial strides in transforming the energy landscape for Indian farmers, improving their livelihoods, and promoting sustainable development in the country.
