Max, Kim, Francisco and Alex, members of our International R&D team, are working on a new proposal for human waste treatment systems with SIstema.bio. They are consolidating all of the team’s experience in this area. The objective is to better understand market expectations, needs and how the Sistema.bio technology can be adapted to meet these demands, so we can offer three main services: households, community centers and sludge from latrines treatment.
New mapping system
As we strive to always offer the best service to our customers, we are constantly improving our work processes. We have implemented a global mapping tool to visualize all installed digesters, optimizing after-sales monitoring and any other service. We are making the most out of the data collected in TaroWorks and Salesforce.
Our team in Kenya is successfully using this Carto tool, which will be available very soon to support Colombia, India, Nicaragua, and Mexico!

Be ready for upcoming accessories
Sistema.bio R&D department based in Puebla, México, has been working on improving biogas accessories for market distribution. Now in last pilot stage, we are almost ready to launch biogas motors and water heaters.
Meet Sistema.bio – IRRI Mexico biofertilizer resource center in Yucatan
This a space designed to collect and improve biofertilizer composition, applications, treatments and management. This center, run by IRRI-Mexico & Sistema.bio research team is now a living laboratory to test and investigate on best practices on the efficient use of the biofertilizer: dilution, dosages, optimization, storage and transportation. The results of this research will work for future outreach material for sistema.bio users by being specific, proven, verifiable and locally appropriate. By hosting workshops and guided visits in the place, the team shares knowledge on how to incorporate bioslurry in the different agriculture models.
The local team is also piloting the first biofertilizer regional distribution model, by providing a bio-slurry supply to a network of small farmers who do not have biodigesters but that are interested in the application of the biofertilizer as an accessible environmentally friendly alternative for improving their crops.
